SHIRTS OFF TO OMAROSA

I’ve seen the previews, ladies we must take control of the television remotes on Thursday, February 28th. On tomorrow’s episode of NBC’s The Celebrity Apprentice, Trace will give up his shirt for his team’s mission. It was Omarosa’s idea and I think all of us Trace fans should send her a note of thanks. In her place, I don’t know if I would be brave enough to suggest it, but I know I will enjoy watching it as much as she did.

To see Trace in person, head on down to Plant City, Florida where he will appear March 7th at The Florida Strawberry Festival®.

We will also get plenty of opportunity over the next week to see Trace on CMT. Beginning Friday, March 7, at 10:00 p.m., CMT will air its show, CMT 40 Sexiest Music Videos. This is a two-hour countdown of the hottest videos ever to air on CMT, featuring insightful, enticing and outrageous commentary by some of America's sexiest celebrities.

Keep Watching Trace

The contestants are thinning out on Celebrity Apprentice, but Trace is hanging in there. I've got to believe he will be excel in the upcoming competition which requires writing, directing skills which Trace have in abundance and has used in previous episodes to help his team win.

Trace's website says this about the upcoming episode...

After the volatile and disruptive exchange between Piers Morgan and Omarosa on "The Celebrity Apprentice," Donald Trump trys to put things back on track this week with another team switch, moving Omarosa over to Adkins' team.

The newly arranged teams will be sent via helicopter to QVC Headquarters in Pennsylvania. Each team will be responsible for writing, directing, and producing a sales segment live on QVC. It's Quality, Value, and Chaos on this task, as a few of the celebrities have sold items on the network before, but others have a significant learning curve.

The winner will be based on total sales, and the losing team will face Mr. Trump in the boardroom, where someone else will go home on Thursday, February 21 (9:00 PM - 10:00 PM ET/PT).

Disgusted With Political Choices? ? ? ? ? ? Vote for Trace Instead

I am disgusted with our system for electing the person to fill our country's highest office. The entire process is about money. Who can raise the most, who can spend the most, who can say the least about what they actually stand for while looking sincere and showing pearly whites. If I were in charge I would do away with individual political advertisements. Have the candidates turn in a resume, have reporters interview them on the issues, hold debates and publish a catalog of the results for each voter.
That vented - Trace fans get lots of opportunities to vote for the big guy this week. Number One, of course, is the 2008 CMT Music Awards where fans can vote for Trace in several categories. Trace's "I Got My Game On" video is nominated in the Male Video of the Year and Comedy Video of the Year categories. Rodney Carrington is nominated for Supporting Character of the Year for his work on that video with Trace. You can only vote once so make them count. First round ends February 25th and top four videos in each category will advance to new voting.
I am enjoying the Buddy TV website where you can vote for anything from Trace's photo to whether he is your favorite member of the Hydra team or just rate him against other celebrities. Currently among 4735 celebrities he is rated 2792.
When you get a chance, vote for Trace, he says he will stick around as long as the fans still want him.

Celebrity Apprentice too Rough for Me

Anytime I know that Trace will be on television, I tune in with anticipation of hearing just what will come out of that boy’s mouth, except when the show is Celebrity Apprentice. That show is like watching a train wreck; there’s a giant clash, followed by loud noise, much confusion, and then someone gets thrown to the curb.
Isn’t it ironic that the most civilized Celebrity Apprentice is a roughneck from Louisiana? Trace had to have come away at the end of each taping day wondering where the grownups were.
Phil Roura of The New York Daily News observed … He's been in bar brawls and catfights, nearly severed a finger during an oil rig accident, broke a zillion bones in two auto accidents and been shot through both lungs and his heart by his second wife.
But redneck country singer Trace Adkins says he has never encountered anybody quite as scary as Omarosa, one of his opponents on Donald Trump's "Celebrity Apprentice."
Good wording except for the “redneck” part – we all know that Trace is a roughneck, not a redneck. I plan to add Roura’s description of Trace’s voice to my list of Trace adjectives, “a drawl deeper than Death Valley”.
I am looking forward with much anticipation to Trace’s appearance on Howie Long’s pre-Super Bowl show. Trace’s website says…
"NFL Hall of Famer Howie Long has enlisted the help of country music tough guy, Trace Adkins who will kick off the 14th edition of Howie Long's Tough Guys: Super Bowl Edition Presented by Chevrolet with his hit "I've Got My Game On." Adkins will also play a part in counting down to Howie's Ultimate Tough Guy Award. The special airs on February 3 at 1:30pm ET and will lead directly into the FOX Sports Super Bowl XLII Pre Game Show."
