It's A Good Time To Be A Trace Fan

According to Billboard, Trace's new single, Muddy Water debuted at 45 on the Country Music Charts the first week of its release. I am impressed with that showing considering I can't even find the request line for our local country station here in Charleston. It's like they don't want to be bothered with hearing what the listeners want to listen to.

But I will keep trying. I know when people hear it, they are gonna like it too.

Trace Adkins and 38 Special will join together to tape an episode of CMT Crossroads to premiere on Sept. 24. The invitation-only taping takes place Aug. 19 near Nashville.

You have a chance at being in the audience if you are a member of Trace Adkins' fan club. Club members received an email this week that they can enter to win tickets to the taping and to Trace's 5th Anniversary Opry Performance.

In addition to that Fan Club members have advantage buying when tickets go on sale for concerts and have a chance at back stage passes.

Trace Adkins, Dierks Bentley and Norah Jones are among the artists releasing concert DVDs from the Austin City Limits television series this fall. Adkins' full-length episode will be available on Oct. 28.

Best of all Trace will release his new album on November 25th.
